Crystals, metal and healing

Last week I was grinding some scrolls without my gloves and accidentaly jammed my finger down in the grinder. I rinsed my finger but had been really engaged in the project so I continued with it unbandaged to let the wound dry out. I managed to get some of the copper powder in the wound. I wasn't too worried, it didn't hurt or anything. Well...the next day I could not believe it...the wound was so much better. I have never healed that fast...it was amazing. I have been telling everyone about it! Well...I did some research on the net to see what I could find on healing and copper/brass (brass is an alloy of copper and zinc) to see what I could find and was astonished...
